Carlos Silva addresses his work from an experience with everyday life, observing his surroundings; the city, its inhabitants, its spaces and objects, specifically the tension between these and the present, its materialization in image, its deviations and possible transformations. He turns to photography and video as a starting point for each process, working from an extensive archive, which he has been building over time and is in a constant flux and transformation.
Uno is an editorial exercise by Carlos Silva, which seeks to give physical support to the photographic process developed through his Instagram account. That daily exercise where the random and the abundance of images prevail, paradoxically is channeled in the edition of a single copy.
