Visual artist and photographer. Cristian Maturana is dedicated to the development of artwork, mainly political, which has been shown in Chile, Peru, Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Italy and France, among others, both on public roads and in various galleries and museums.

Exhibition originally shown in November 2017 in Copiapó, Chile. Cenotafio is a visual reflection on the phenomenon of forced disappearance in Chile, in particular on the train tracks that were used by the civic-military dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet to make the bodies of executed political prisoners disappear by throwing them into the sea. The book takes up the photographic records of the work, accompanied by texts by Víctor Estivales, Manuel Ormazábal and Nicholas Jackson and a story by Viviana Díaz.

Project financed by Fondart Regional, 2017.
